Walid handled the leasing of our premises @ Suite 2, 17-21 Hunter St, Parramatta; an office of approx. 200 m2.
Our rental situation was exacerbated when our previous tenant gave the notice to vacate in the middle of the COVID crisis in 2020. There was a lot of uncertainty around commercial office premises given varying and confusing levels of government and landlord support, and the changing nature of working environments with more people working from home.
This was a particularly difficult time for everyone, and I am sure that Walid found it a baptism of fire given that he had only recently gone out on his own as a property agent. We needed to work closely with Walid to ensure that we were exploring all opportunities for prospective tenants and at all times found Walid to be supportive, co-operative and willing to take guidance and direction.
In the end, and given the circumstances, our search for a new tenant was successful; albeit not on as favourable terms as the previous tenant, but such is the vagary of the commercial property market now.
We wish Walid all the best as he continues on the challenging path to which he has committed, as an independent property agent.
